What to expect during a visit
At Atlantic Naturopathic, you can expect a different experience than any other healthcare experience you’ve had so far. Before your first visit begins, your naturopathic provider will carefully review your intake paperwork to optimize your visit time. Your initial visit is 90 minutes long during which your naturopathic provider will gather more details about your individual health journey and diagnoses/conditions to build a holistic understanding of you, your needs, and your obstacles. Visits with our naturopathic providers are also a collaborative effort as they answer questions and explain their naturopathic approach to your health. Towards the conclusion of your visit, your naturopathic provider will review their recommendations for you which may include routine and/or specialty lab work, diet and lifestyle changes, nutritional supplements, and personalized herbal formulas. Education is one of the six naturopathic principles, so your naturopathic provider will expertly guide you through each recommendation they make.
Follow-up visits are devoted to reviewing lab results, tracking progress on the previous visit's recommendations, attending to any obstacles or challenges that arose between visits, and scaling up recommendations to continue moving towards your health goals. The typical time to follow up after your initial visit is 2-4 weeks and additional follow-ups are typically scheduled every 4-12 weeks depending on need. Your provider will discuss recommended follow-up time with you during your first visit.

Our services
Herbs
Herbalism is the practice of utilizing herbs to support health. Both Drs. Naman and Froehlich employ herbs in a number of ways with their clients including capsules, teas, and tinctures. Individual herbs have specific indications and support different body systems. Our providers’ extensive training in and knowledge of herbs allows them to craft a unique and individualized formulation just for you. Reorder here.
Nutritional Supplements
Sometimes a proper diet is not sufficient to eliminate nutritional deficiencies. In this case, we use practitioner-quality, third-party tested supplements to fill those gaps.
Disease prevention & Lifestyle Counseling
Prevention is one of the six naturopathic principles and is also one of the most important modalities of naturopathic medicine. Having been trained in naturopathic primary care, Drs. Naman and Froehlich are able to review your health history including previous lab work or imaging to develop a set of individualized lifestyle recommendations that highlights health promotion and disease prevention.
Mind-body sessions, led by Dr. Olivia Shelton, help clients manage stress through tailored techniques like breath retraining, guided meditation, and mindfulness training, ultimately aiming to improve mental and physical health by creating lasting stress-management habits.
